I have found almost no information about Joseph beyond the fact that he was a Quaker, and partial vital records. His brother Julius was a shoemaker,2414 and his father a last maker, so he could have been involved in these trades. That would be of interest to me because it would provide a possible root for the shoemaking trade of his grandson, Thomas Lloyd.

I believe that the Records of the Gibbins Family2410 mistake the date of Joseph’s death, confusing him with another person of the same name who did die in 1780 in the Friends Warwickshire South Monthly Meeting area.
