“THE LEBANON ENTERPRISE, page 3, Friday, July 15, 1904.  THOMAS A LYONS, one of Lebanon's oldest citizens passed away at his home on Market street, Monday evening, July 11, 1904, at 7 o'clock of old age. Deceased was 85 years old, and had spent all his life here, his parents having come to Marion [then Washington] count from Maryland when he was an infant*. Up to a few years ago when he retired on account of age, he followed the carpenters trade. The following children survive Misses Sallie, Eliza, and Birdie and Messrs. James and Edward. Deceased was a consistent member of the Catholic church and the obsequies were held at St. Augustine's cemetery by the side of his wife who died about five years ago. The Enterprise extends sympathy to the bereaved children.”2039
