The first documentation of him I have found is his presence in the Nelson County tax lists of 1799.1939 He was ordered to assist in road repair by Nelson County Court in 1806.1940
He was in Bullitt County from 1808 forward.1941 He bought 100 acres of land in Cedar Creek, Bullitt County in 1811.1942
He died about 1818. Susan Emerson acquired much of his personal property at the probate auction.1938 His presumed son John was living along Cedar Creek in 1830, apparent heir of the land his father had bought.1943
