It seems highly likely that Patsy (pershaps short for Martha) was part of a branch of Roberts that came from Culpeper, Virginia through Nelson and then Henry counties in Kentucky. Her ancestry may well have run through James, son of Benjamin. There are not enough surviving documents for me to sort out particulars so far, especially because the family was very repetitive in its use of given names.
